Thaumus (Wonder) Greek An ancient sea god, ranked among the second-generation of Titans; son of Gaia and Pontus; brother of Ceto, Phorcys, Nereus, and Eurybia. Few stories are told of this god. He is known most for being the father, with the Oceanid Electra (3), of Iris, the goddess of rainbows, and of the strong storm winds known as the Harpies.
