Historical Foundation of Thanksgiving

Firstly, In the historical context of the 17th century, the
story of Thanksgiving begins with the Pilgrims, English settlers (colons) seeking
religious freedom.
In 1620, the Pilgrims left England aboard the Mayflower to establish a colony in
America, The Plymouth.
Concequently In spring, the Americans Indians taught the Pilgrims how to grow
plants, vegetables, and trees.
Then, the next autumn, they had an abundance
of food to feed the entire community.
Therefore, They were very happy and
grateful.
To thank the Americans, they organized a very large dinner that lasted
for three days!
So, this day is considered the first "Thanksgiving Day." It was in 1621, and since
then, every year on the same date, the American people, (in memory of this
beautiful day), celebrate Thanksgiving.

Moreover, In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving a national
holiday, dedicated to gratitude and unity.
