I'd like to introduce a slogan to you, "Fake news is a real virus." This
slogan was created by a protester in California in May 2020 during the
COVID-19 pandemic.
This image is a representation of a protest sign.
A slogan «fake news is a
real virus ! » is written in black and red, « fake news » and « real virus »
are both in black while « is a » and the exclamation point are in red in the
way to insist on the verb « to be ».
It means that the real virus is not covid19 but fake news.
The verb in red shows the strenght of the affirmation as
well as the exclamation point does.
We can feel how much the message
trys to make us understand where the real danger is.
What this slogan is trying to say is that fake news, or false information, is
like a harmful type of made-up story that can have very real consequences
for our society.
Let me break it down for you:

Now, when we talk about "reality," the slogan is reminding us that even
though fake news is made-up, it can have real and damaging effects.
It can
change what people believe, confuse us, cause problems in our society,
and even impact things like public health, national security, and our
everyday lives.
At the end, this slogan is saying that we need to be really good at telling
the difference between made-up stories and what's real.
This topic, the
relationship between fiction and reality, is pretty important and
complicated because it shows how creative works can profoundly affect
the way we see and understand the world around us.
Misinformation and fake news are a perfect example of how made-up
stories can have a big impact on our lives.
They can change what we
believe, how we act, and even what happens on a global scale.
The slogan
also reminds us that these made-up stories, in the form of fake news, can
often have a negative impact on our society.
It's a powerful way of
showing how the line....
