Moldavia is a landlocked country.
Without access to the sea, it is very dependent on the Ukrainian port of Odessa.
Moldavia is a flat and fertile country in which agriculture plays a key role, fruit, vegetables and tobacco provide genuine wealth, vineyards cover large areas.
This small country posseses a continental climate with strong sub-Mediterranean influences.
