Lemurs Lemurs are primates with long noses, large ears, and long tails. They are found only on the island of Madagascar and the nearby islands of Comoros. Most lemurs live in trees. They mainly eat fruit, flowers, and leaves, but some like to eat bugs. Because their forest homes are being destroyed, many lemurs are considered endangered species.
