The reality television INTRODUCTION I will speak to you about reality TV. Nowadays, the reality TV take an important place in teenagers' life. Indeed when teens go back home after school, in general they want to have a break. So they watch reality TV because they don't need to reflect. That's why, i wondered me : What is the influence of reality TV on the youngers ? In a first part, i will explain to you what is it and i'll give you examples. Then, i will present to you negative effects on youngers. To finish, i will give you a topical example about Nabilla. ANALYSIS The reality television is a program TV. Goal is to follow daily life of anonymous or famous people. The first program appeared in 1973 in United-States. It was named «  An American Family ». In 1999, « Big Brother » broadcast in Netherlands. This program developed a new concept. To the first time, spectators could participate to the program. They could vote to their favorite candidate and eliminate people that they didn't like. In France, the first reality TV was Loft story in 2001. After, we saw Star Academy, Koh Lanta, Secret Story and so on. According to many surveys, parents think that the reality TV is not a good thing. These programs have harmfull effects on the teenagers. Firstly, the reality TV is like a drug. When we begin we can't stop. So, youngers can be isolated instead of socialized making to sportive activities for example. Secondly, teens think to identify them with candidate. However all is false. Therefore, they become more sensitive. Thirdly, youngers are less attentive in class. Because of reality TV, they think they don't need study to become reach. To my mind, the only positive aspect concerns the celebrity that people know. But it's fleeting.. Indeed, It's a true reality. We can take the example of Nabilla. Nabilla became a famous people thanks to « L'amour est aveugle » and especially « les anges de la téléréalité ». Even if not many people trust to her career at the start, she achieved to have a place in the world of celebrity. Recently, she began to make appearances in the famous program « TPMP ». But overnight she was in a scandal and she put in jail. Without paying attentions to rumors, i think it's because the medias' pressure. She became a little crazy since to these reality TV. CONCLUSION I'd like to conclude by saying that in France since to 2001, the reality TV didn't stop to change. I think reality TV can cut youngers off from reality. They dream to have a better and easier life. So they don't think at the most important. To sum up, these reality TV can be dangerous for young people, even if they can identify them with candidates. In other words, i think they have a bad influence on teenagers. However, reality TV concern only the youngers ?
