(Afterthought) Greek Brother of
Prometheus, a Titan. Epimetheus accepted Pandora
as his wife, in spite of the warnings of his wiser
brother. Pandora had been created by the gods to
punish humankind for accepting the forbidden gift of
fire from Prometheus.
