Today, racism is a major problem over the world. We often speak about racism, but today, can people of different backgrounds, races and cultures, ever be truly assimilated by others ?

First, we will see that racism is a problem since a few centuries. We will then see that our society is different from before but there is always people who judge on racial characteristics. To conclude, we will see that immigration is an advantage, but also a disadvantage.

Since a few centuries, people of different backgrounds, races and cultures are victims of maltraitance from white people. For example, in Africa, blacks were enslaved by white to be forced to work in America. Another example : there’s not only black who are victims from other, during the second world war, Jews were deported by Nazis in Concentration Camp to be killed by working.

Our actual society is not based on races, cultures and backgrounds, it’s based on our working and our adaptation capacity.

Unfortunately, there is always people who judge on racial characteristics. These people can, for example pay much a white than a black, or choose a white for a job than a black.

Immigration is a very important subject. Over the world we can see people leaving their countries to get away from poverty, governments and war. For example, in USA, there is a lot of Mexicans immigrants. In one hand, these immigrants are sources of problem in some case, but in the other hand they are an economical advantage for them too, they do what the others don’t want to do.

To conclude, people of different backgrounds, races and cultures, can and must be truly assimilated by others. It’s the better way to get a better society and development.
